The focus of this nugget is empowerment – making the right choices. Looking towards to the future, asking delegates to consider their personal attributes, their core skills and their transferable skills. Then thinking about this in relation to an action plan with tangible objectives – the importance of having this written down and using it to prompt and develop ideas and maintain momentum. Linking back to motivational factors and finally bringing all this information together to increase the probability of making the right career move.
